Home on the range

Jason, G and I are all settled in at our apartment in Clarksville.  We have been enjoying the nice weather and being so close to Nonnie and Grandpa Big.  Since we are only two and a half hours away, we have been able to make a few trips to see them on the weekends.

G got some cool shades from her Aunt Steffi, so she has been sporting those in this beautiful weather.  They are a little big, but they work.  Giabella also got some cool pink adidas shoes from her Grandpa Big that she wears whenever we go out.  They work perfect so people know she is a girl and I don't always have to correct them.

Now that we are settled in, we set up the high chair so Gia can eat at the table.  She loves it.  G baby loves every food she has tried so far, except maybe peas.  She still eats them, but she makes a disgusted face and gags from time to time.

We really lucked out with the location of our apartment, the view out our back porch is cow pastures and there are even a few donkeys in there.  We go out and feed the donkeys a few times a week.  I love being able to look out and see field instead of other apartment buildings or a parking lot.  We spend a lot of time sitting on the porch and watching the animals.

On the road again!

Just as we were leaving Madison, Jason got a new job as offensive line coach at Austin Peay State University.  So this fall we will be cheering Let's Go Peay!  As soon as we got back to Baton Rouge, we started packing things up and getting ready to get on the road.  Before we left we took one last trip over to Houston to visit Owen and Angela and they met Gbaby for the first time.

Here are a few photos of Giabella's last few days in Baton Rouge.

Grandma Sally flew down to Baton Rouge and the following day, Grandma, Giabella and I drove up to Jason's parents house.  We hung out there and made a few trips to Clarksville to look at apartments.  On Monday we found a place, Jason drove up with the Uhaul on Wednesday and we moved in to our new apartment on Thursday!  Things move fast, but we are very excited to start this next chapter in TN at Austin Peay.

We had a good time hanging out at Jason's parents'.  Giabella got to spend her six month birthday with Grandma Sally, Nonnie, Grandpa Big and Great Granny.
