Some quick pics

Here are some quick pictures from part of our stay in Madison.  I haven't had much time on a computer, so I have been pretty bad at uploading pictures.  We are currently in Tennessee visiting the Palermo side of the family and I will put some of those pics, as well as others from our Wisconsin trip, up later.

This is how I got the hickey...

We got a smile!

Miss Giabella is smiling all the time now, but I can never seem to capture it on camera.  Of course, when my Mom was watching her, she got a picture of her smiling.  So here it is!

More shenanigans

Here are some pictures of Giabella, up to her usual shenanigans...that is what happens when her and I spend so much time alone together.

Just chillin' on her boppy...awkward smile

Dressing like her Aunt Steffi...jeggings and all

Gma and Abby came to visit for a long weekend.  We walked by the lake, ran errands and watched football.  Another exciting weekend in the Rouge.  It was really nice to go on a long walk.  Giabella hasn't been a huge fan of going on walks in her stroller, so we tried with her in the carrier and she loved it.

We got back to Madison on Thursday and drove up to MN on Friday for the weekend to visit family.  Giabella was very excited to meet many of my Aunts, Uncles, cousins and her only Great Grandfather.

First cold winter walk

Walking is tiring, she fell right asleep, even in the cold.
I know this next picture looks like I fell and hit my chin, but no, it is a hickey.  I was holding Giabella, when all of a sudden she starts sucking on my chin.  My mom and I thought it was funny, so she went to grab the camera.  So I let Gbell continue until my mom took the picture....and now I have a hickey on my chin.  More shenanigans!

Yep, that is a hickey

So very thankful

We are exceptionally thankful this year.  For a healthy baby girl, supportive family and friends who have helped us out in so many ways and so much more.  Giabella is growing right in front of our eyes.  At her three month doctors appointment on Monday, she weighed 12lb 9oz and measured 23in.  She is becoming a plump little thing.  She is so much fun to be around now that she is smiling and responding to us.  She is picking things up, interested in everything around her and making noises, her attempt to speak with us.  Here are a few pictures from the last few weeks.

Molly came to visit this past week which was awesome!  We had someone to hang out with us all week and help out.  It was especially great over the weekend while Jason was away at his game.  We watched Robbie and Chloe a few days while Molly was here.  On Friday we went to the zoo.  It was a beautiful day and the zoo was empty.

Mother and Baby monkeys

There was a Mother monkey with it's baby attached around it's waist.  The baby held on and went with the Mother everywhere she went.  It was very cute.  Molly held Giabella as we walked through the zoo.  We could tell she was getting a little hungry when she started sucking on Molly's arm while we were learning about the otters.  After we took a break for Gbell to eat, she felt much better and was calm again!

Relaxed again after eating

On Saturday, we ran some errands and Giabella was sporting her Wisconsin shirt while we were shopping.  As you can see, we use her car seat as a purse.

Giabella has been changing so much.  She is much more aware of her surroundings and has started to grab things.  She loves to stand up when you hold her and is constantly moving around and smiling.  For awhile Giabella cried when you changed her diaper or sometimes in the bath, but now she is calm and enjoying both!  She is definitely a pleasure to be around!
